Dalyan is in the northern shores of the Çeşme peninsula. It's a typical seaside village full of seafood restaurants and a marine. It is well known for its Sakızlı bay. The old church in the town has been restored and converted into a mosque and there is another church near the cemetery. Stone tower over Dalyan has an interesting story. Once a mad man built the tower and then after a ship is built within the tower. The ship was so big that he can not take it out of the door. Therefore he began to live in that ship.
